Bio

Rich Moore has over 25 years of managerial and operational experience focused on emerging growth organizations.  He has advised numerous CEOs and boards on matters supporting increased valuation and success, to include marketing, sales, international expansion, public relations, positioning and packaging of companies and initiatives, investor communications, preparation for mergers, acquisitions and initial public offerings, and managing the challenges of high growth.  In addition, he has been noted for his practical approaches in guiding effective execution of marketing that includes low-cost methods of distribution.  Rich frequently coaches CEOs of emerging growth firms and serves on corporate boards in a variety of advisory capacities.  

Rich is President of Rich Moore, Inc., an advisory firm; a member of the board of directors for Vocus (VOCS), a public company and among Forbes “Top 25 Fastest Growing Technology Companies in the US”; board member of web services company StrikeIron; advisory board member to technology firm Natural Insight; advisory board member to nationally-recognized Entertainment Industries Council on Science, Education and Technology; and an advisor to Amplifier Ventures and Manager of its Business Acceleration Program.  He has also served as a CEO coach for the Northern Virginia Technology Council.

Career experience has included executive officer positions with systems utilities firms VM Software and Systems Center; supply chain logistics providers Roadshow International and Descartes Systems; internet monitoring company Cyveillance, identity and authentication management firm BNX Systems; Caesars Hotel-Casinos executive for marketing and entertainment; and service in the US Navy as a Public Affairs Officer where he was press spokesman and liaison to Hollywood as technical advisor.  Rich is also adept in multi-national business relations with operational experience in European and Asian markets.

Rich Moore holds a BA in Communications from the University of Maryland, with graduate work in Public Relations from American University and leadership training from Darden School of Business.  He is also a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership.
